Hey guys just thought I'd keep you upto speed on the restore and custom job that I'm doing on that old VS Intruder...I got all the Spectrachrome bits back and I started again in earnest today....it's going to look really cool...Some pics for you...The colour is a dark orange with black tint and it looks really cool. I'll have to get pictures up of the paint work that I got done...True fire or real flame depending on which side of the paint shop you stand on...anyway....check these out
Cheers....

Mate, One great looking project, I am currently doing a 62 Trumpy chop but the workmanship on yours is unreal.
Love the paint job, its similar to my original intention with the chop but now I am going flat black with pinstriping (I Think).
I have just started on the bonnie and will be cutting the guard down this week. The bar end mirrors are on a ship from US of A and I have been painting the cowl, guard, stone style fairing this week. Should be able to apply the stripes next week.
Must feel good to be nearing the finish.

Budweiser beer in the land down under? Who'da thought! That is a wild looking frame, where the top meets the gooseneck, all those tubular things. Kinda like Medusa's head.

Hi again guys, well the next installment in the birth of Spitfire is here...I made myself a prop to use in conjunction with the motor frame so I could paint the engine. This is the latest and the engine work has started in earnest now. Trying to have it ready by the 27th of this month...big call but I'm gunna try,,,it's Darren's birthday and I want to try and have it ready for him for the big reveal. Sounds like Chip Foose yeah!!...So this is whats been happening in the Blackston shed...
More to come...stay tuned...
Thanks for hangin with me on this one guys...it's turning out well...
Cheers,
Bret....
