Weeellllll.........I ain't gonna say that,but.....Robs bike would have been here for sure,because it's a beautiful machine,except that he rarely posts.Personally,I love his bike,and while I wouldn't exactly sell my soul,I'd arguably give my left nut for it. Same with Carlos.Carlos' awesome machine might (would?) have been a shoe in,but I think we should keep this to people who post here regularly. Correct me if I'm wrong, y'all. I'll start this all over again. We don't have any sponsors to appease,so we can do whatever we want,on whatever timetable we want. We can take more nominations,and take as long as we like. Carlos and Robnobrakes,please feel free to nominate your bikes.We will vote on them.And they've both got a great chance ,too,because they are both great bikes.And that goes for anyone else who wants to run,too. Lake,I think your Thrux outfit should be here,too,but it wasn't nominated.Do it now. There are lots of bikes we forgot.Ventura and Rmak both have sweet modified Scramblers.Gump has a cool T140(mid 70's Triumphs are so overlooked).RonD? He's got a '51 Tiger that makes your mouth water,plus his everyday Hinckley ride is one of the nicest Bonnevilles I've ever seen. If nothing else,that gives us some ideas for 2012,I guess. However,I am going to nominate one more bike: BluesRiders 1956 BSA Bantam....... Yes,it is chained to the mailbox.What can I say? We had a rash of mailbox thefts in the 'hood. Cheers! Bruce

What happened to Robnobrakes by the way? He suddenly appears here as the TRAT vote starts and then is never heard of again. Vote pimp? ;D I do visit this site regularly, but have to admit I've posted just 17 times I promise to do better in the future Good luck to all the finalists in this year's poll. I'll vote for my favorite now.

I wish I had my bike further ahead in the rebuild, as it would've been nice to be in the running. Oh well, maybe next year.

bloody great idea this, and a bloody hard choice. In my own mind I'll have to pick a vintage and a modern then flip a coin on my vote.
Mmmmmm.....

Seems Dave is right-we do have some things in common. Mind you, I live on the top of the world, in Oz y'all are just hanging on ;D Thieu

Post regularly by all means but try to keep away for a month or two next year just before the BOTY 2011 competition, so we can keep your great Thuxton out of the running!

Hey - no photos for Lake's and Blackston's machines? Foul! Foul!!! It's a fix, I've been snubbed and I'm hurt. I demand that there is a Sidecar Of The Year competition, I'd happily take on all-comers! Seriously, my Thruxton is almost standard so I honestly don't think it should have been in the running anyway, so I didn't enter it. Brets Thruxton should have been in but he's probably too busy at the moment fitting floats on it. I'm thinking of getting my little 250cc Crusader Sports back on the road; it needs new head studs, the head skimmed, a new internal gear selector linkage (rockin' horse shit to get hold of), the wobbly forks re-lined and the side panels re-sprayed. It'll keep me busy for a while, money allowing of course. This is it at a local show, Hutton in the Forest; ....and outside my local traditional English pub, the Lowther Arms at Cumwhinton;
