Hi Guys! I've been waiting till Saturday so I could write an appropriate response.
I want to thank you for the honor. It genuinely means a lot to me for several reasons.
First and foremost, I know the quality of the people here, and the level of knowledge and expertise you all have with motorcycles.
Secondly, The field of bikes was outstanding. Each one, in my opinion, has everything it needs to be a bike of the year.
Thirdly, Me olde Triumph is a pretty thing. This I can't deny. It's a joy to catch it at the corner of my eye when I visit here. I don't take any responsibilty for its beauty. We'd have to thank Edward Turner, or somebody else at the Meriden factory for their genius. I am just pleased that I could take it out of its poor state and give it the second life it deserves.
I'm not sure what other info Bruce would like me to share. I've droned on and on about everything in the build thread.
My only complaint about the competition is that it was hard for me to put the new bikes and old bikes in the same pool. They are really apples and oranges.
Once again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Rich

Fair play Rich for crediting the competition, but in my eyes - your bike had that extra edge. Hope you enjoyed putting it together and learning everything about it, I know this bike is a keeper for life, so enjoy each and every mile you clock up on her

well deserved Rich and your right about old and new, i put Henries bike down to as a worthy winner as well simply because of the way it looks and what he has put into it, but there can only be one winner and your bike was considered the best candidate by most of us here this year but dont let it go to your head ;D
