Good find, love the old scrambles....I rode a few scrambles on a CZ250 when I was young & silly.
MW sounded just he same..

Thanks for that rmak, excellent racing! Vic Eastwood, who crashed out of third was my hero when I was a kid!

Thanks rmak. listen to all those 4 strokes. I did a few of them in 70,71. Had a yamaha 125 endoro, what a fun bike.

Way cool,Rich! That finish was incredible! It's a shame there aren't some better quality prints of those old races left.I'm not taking anything away from todays bikes and riders.I'm sure a top racer now would have been a top racer back then, too, but it just doesn't have the same excitement for me as it did in the old days. Outdoor MX is still worth watching, but SX leaves me cold. And,since the 4 stroke revolution, going to the track just isn't as much fun as it was just a few years ago.It doesn't sound the same,it doesn't smell the same.Long live Vintage Motocross! One thing missing from that vid is the constant metallic clanking you always heard during the race. From the forks and shocks bottoming all the time.Another motocross noise that has gone the way of the two stroke wail.
