These just came in the mail today from the painter. Don Hutchinson colors. They're supposed to be very close to original

Shazam! That's some top notch stuff. All I have ever heard about Hutchinson is GOOD. Way back when, when I started with Triumphs, he was the guy everyone used. Man, that bike is going to look great!

Just got a photo from the bike shop. My back rim is done. The front wheel on a 65 has a unique nipple arrangement, so, to save money I will have to get my old rim re-chromed. 4 weeks wait! Dang!

That wheel looks pretty - all chromey and clean. What's that guy have on the plate? Looks like it could be a pulled pork sandwich. That's pretty too!

Ha, ha Dave. I didn't even notice the sandwich. Billy, the guy doing the wheels sent me this shot with another of his birthday party for his dog, 1 year old Noah, who, I swear, is the biggest dog I've ever seen. Maybe a Newfoundland, I can't remember the breed, but the dog is more like a grizzly bear in size. I think Billy was celebrating.

I wanted to give you all an update. Things have finally been coming together in the last two weeks. Engine, wheels, etc all in place. Still waiting for parts and many small details to attend to. She is pretty, isn't she?
