Nice looking bike! Is that the oil cooler on the frame front downpipes?

Yep,thats the cooler. Stretching the swingarm 3" was a little harder to do,but using a Chinese chain breaker with no instructions on my new 530 chain was the hardest part of all.

What do you get from the extra three inches of wheelbase? I'd think a smoother ride, oh, and a longer bike too.

It rides a lot smoother and steadier on the freeway, takes my favorite back roads and corners just as easily, with just a bit less ground clearance and opens up more seat/exhaust possibilities for me to tinker with. But,at the end of the day, probably not as much reward as the 2 months of agonizing and planning I went through would have indicated.

Nice looking bike! Is that the oil cooler on the frame front downpipes? Added a small change today. Now the oil cooler IS the frame`s front downpipe.

Wow! Now,that's just wicked cool(I guess it better be ;D). Are those little holes for flow thru ventilation? Did you drill the holes, then weld in some tubes to close them? That's using your noggin,Rod.Does the frame get good and warm when it's running? If so,you know it's doing it''s job. Here's to ya and some karma too.

Yes,just some little tubes welded in and yes,the frame warmed right up during the short time I ran it.[had plumbed in the new fatty tank at the same time,so had minimal fuel on board]

You need to get that patented.I'm serious.I'll bet it works at least as good as a stock cooler. It would be pretty easy to produce those frame cradles, and even if you didn't do it yourself, you could license it out.
