Working on it. The tank was a terrible rattle can job. Will post them as soon as I can.
The enticing thing on this one is it is pretty much all stock and less than 6K miles.

'74 Trident, been sitting in a storage shed for 10 years. Never really thought they were that appealing (compared to a twin), but this one kept "growing on me" and couldn't pass it up. The owner is getting too old to ride; had to ride it to my house for one last hu-rah. Notice the distance of the side stand from the ground? I didn't UNTIL I tried to use it when it was in my garage! Apparently this was a 'weak' spot for the Triples. Easy fix I've learned from the Triples forum though. Most all the 'bits' are there, even has the metal "straps" for all the harness and such. I'll keep it pretty much stock as possible (not sure why) maybe since most of it is all there. I am putting lime green "scallops" on the black tank with white pinstripes though. I do prefer the look of the "low" bars compared to the US export higer bars. Haven't found where to obtain any yet though... Bryan

At the moment; it is a good "ten footer"!

That prop stand thing was a weak spot on all the old English bikes. The stand tabs on both my Commandos are completely broken off,and the one on my BSA Firebird looks just like yours.Comes from sitting on the bike while it's parked. They were never designed for that.I guess the engineers figured if you were sitting on the bike, you were supposed to be riding it.
I hope you do leave it stock. Those Triples are pretty rare compared to the Twins, and that one looks all there and in good, low miles condition, considering it's age.Just needs some cleaning up and polishing.Nothing wrong with a ten footer anyway, unless you are trying to win shows, and even then,an original ten footer will win over a "restored" bike in lots of cases.Especially if the restoration is done with some of the cheesy "pattern" parts available out there these days.
