I have an girder fork mounted on a 57 BSA Golden flash i just bought. Me problem is that the spring/shock is missing. I wonder if anyone knows if i can use a shock from a harley springer fork. I also wonder if i can use a fork/triple trees/front wheel from some other bike ? Does anyone know ? SilverB

I don't see why you couldn't use the shock from the Harley,as long as it's the right length, and mounting, but the spring is separate.
As far as something off another bike,Ron might be able to tell you a direct fit,it's too early of a model for me,but the later Triumphs and BSAs were pretty much interchangeable, with a little finagling.
Of course, anything can be made to work
