I'm really impressed with our Go Pro HD video camera. For Jacobs 6th Birthday we had a family party by hiring a local leisure pool for a couple of hours and, because it was a private party, we were allowed to film. The camera comes in a waterproof casing which works great, the only downside is the shape of the camera which wasn't designed to be hand held (it's just a cube) and that it doesn't have a viewfinder. When we go on holiday in August we're taking it with us rather than our camcorder, Jacob has surfing lessons booked so that'll be fun. I cannot recommend these cameras enough. Anyway, here's the result (and this wasn't on the highest quality setting).

The picture quality is brilliant, there is no difference even when under water. Looks like Jacob had a great time, those big plastic balls look good fun!

OK I bought the camera and made a great video on my Thruxton but the damn thing is huge. 1.3 gigs. Now what? How do I get that on our site for all to OOH and AHH at?

1.3 gig isn't huge in the big scheme of things, remember the number of pixels the camera takes every frame? Its gonna be BIG!
OK, try to keep films less than 10 minutes in length, then create a Youtube account (if you haven't already) and upload the film to Youtube (can take a while, and when its uploaded give it time to render at a higher quality). Then you can 'share' the film from your Youtube account (watch the vid, click on share, and copy the link that is highlighted).
Come onto this forum and click the Youtube logo you can see when creating/replying to a message, paste the link from Youtube between the [/youtube] boxes and it'll embed it in your message.
