For sale; only 7k miles with FTSH. Finished in Jet Black. I'm only the second registered keeper of the bike.
Right hand side is in perfect condition.
Left hand side looks as if it has been in a fight with a Combine Harvester!

I take it its a rental bike, in the hands of a customer??

Yeah, rental bike. Guy dropped it after not looking where he was going before panicking and dropping the front end. Damage (so far noticed) is all on the left hand side:
Mirror Bar End Bars (bent) Yoke brackets (for the bars), bent LH Grip Clutch lever Headlight (rim and bowl) Both headlight brackets (light is 3" to the right) Speedo casing Indicator Front mudguard Clutch casing Gear pedal (sheared) Gear shaft (bent!) Exhaust Footpeg Tank scratched ...the list goes on.
Thankfully he's ok. A bit bruised, battered and embarrassed. The insurance company are already playing silly buggers, the guy told me he was on meds to lower his Cholesterol (common thing) but they now say he might have had a heart condition hence the drugs, and they say he might not have been fit to ride. He has a full driving licence and his doctor allows him to drive, he didn't need to tell the DVLA but... well you know insurance companies.
Anyway, no serious damage, he's ok and thats the main thing. The bike will fix and hopefully the insurance company will see sense.

Bugger! That's not good Kieron, but like you say the guy is not seriously hurt, and the bike is repairable. I think the Insurance company is talking crap about his medication. After I had my stroke I contacted DVLA to make find out whether I needed to inform them. I was told that I only have to notify them if I have second stroke! On the DVLA website there is a section that tells you what conditions you have to notify them about.

Keiron, Deb want's to sell Pearl...Mmmm...Me, well I'm a bit pissed about it really but anyway...got a need for a shmick white bonnie with less than 2000k's on the clock???...Plus you get a complete set of cases in brushed alloy (we replaced them with the chrome upgrade kit......she's after a fair bit of cash for it...but, we may be able to do a deal with the wreck mate....you get a newy and I'll do up your wreck and palm it off over here...she wants 17 Aus for Pearl...have a think about it and get back to me if your interested mate...

That's a good idea Bret but the bikes getting sorted and the damage isn't as bad as first thought, its all just cosmetic as the gear shaft is not bent. I think the shipping costs would outweigh any saving, a shame cos' Debs got a nice bike and it would be ideal for me.
I'm hoping to get mine sorted in the next couple of weeks, I was in the dealers today and they have 4 bikes in at the moment, all of which have been dropped over this weekend. They tell me that some of the parts I need are shown as 'low' on the Triumph spares system and some could be out of stock, bugger, you'd think they'd have the basic standard parts of a 'British' bike in stock over here!
How much do you want for the casings?

Kieron - you know what I've replaced on my bike, still have the std items and could swing by Vent the next time he's in Port, if that could speed things up for you!
