No, not the forgettable film starring the buxom Adrienne Barbeaux, but the crap on your shield that makes a generally risky past time even more generally risky. I wear a HJC CL-33 helmet - open face but with a full shield. I like it a lot. The cold weather, of course, always presents a problem with the shield fogging up. For years, I carefully breathed with pursed lips downward, trying to avoid fogging, and it really did not work. So, I'd swipe the fog away, lift the shield for air, hold my breath and the usual. Today I went for a dozen mile ride in 30 degree air and put up with the same crap when a thought occurred - exhale from the corners of my mouth and down. Viola! No fogging except a very slight bit on the lower side of the shield, far out of view. I cannot believe I never tried something like this sooner. Might not work with all helmets, but it does with the one I use now. Live and learn...
