I've got a Lucifer Orange Sprint RS. My first love (biking wise).
Mods include - custom seat with Corbin leather (from local custom shop) TOR can hotter EFI mapping bar risers Gold cartridge emulators and WP fork springs Penske rear shock Metzler Z6 tires 17 tooth front sprocket fender eliminator after market lights

I have an 08 Rocket III. Had a Bonnie (1970 and 2004) and an 07 America-great bikes all. But oh, boy, do I like my R3! A few simple mods and it approx. 150 horse at the reat tire. Now THAT is fun!

Have you seen the price of their real tyres? & I hear that they're lucky to last 4000 miles, which is pretty disgusting for a tourer. So it's no wonder a few are tempted to experiment. It would be OK on the superslab, but would ruin the bike for anywhere else IMO.

back when I had my VTX 1800C the message boards were filled with debate on rear car tires for 'em. Some swore by them. Some at them.
