So, I found, what I hope is a deal. A 1968 Bonneville, with 2000miles. Still has hair on the tires. Gas tank needs a good cleaning, and the paint is faded, but from the little I know, it looks to be all there.
Clean out the tank, new liquids, and HOPEFULLY I'll have a runner...
I bring it home this afternoon, so pics will be up tonight or tomorrow.
The only bad thing...no ownership...hmm, might have to jump some hoops for that.

Here it is: a matching numbers T120R This is the way I picked it up today. Rust on rims is from where it was sitting, or so I was told Tank needs to be cleaned out, and sealed Tires are holding air. Haven't checked lights yet...since he '73 might be out of commision for a bit, I can use the battery on the Bonnie. But yeah, that's all she wrote. So a tank clean, fluid change, and hopefully it will go...fingers crossed.

That's a great score,Mark! I'll bet she's going to take a little more than that to fire up,but hey,you never know, and anyway, that's a mega cool ride.I can't wait to see what happens with her over the next few days.

For what it's worth, I paid $3200 for the bike....SCORE!
Checked the battery, and it was reading around 9-9.5. But even kicking over, it does feel a little too easy...maybe I am imagining.

Looks pretty good, Hamr. You are developing a nice collection of vintage British iron there!
