I took advantage of the great weather, and a day off work and went for a ride out on the Scrambler today. Here are a few pics, I set off down the Trough of Bowland in Lancashire, Continued on through the narrow streets of Slaidburn, and on up a road called the 'Quiet Lane' into Yorkshire Scrambler enjoying the sunshine Met these locals looking back towards Lancashire, carrying on towards Bentham The next 3 were taken just north of Hardraw in the Dales, From here I headed further north to Wainwath falls, Then up through Brough to Teesdale and on to Hartside cafe in Cumbria. There were a few other bikes at the cafe, I especially liked this Trident and Laverda, Then after a quick burger and a brew it was on towards Penrith, and then home. Very little traffic, great roads, and sunshine, most excellent!

Stunning scenery! And sunshine to boot? Looks like it was a grand ride indeed.

That's Chris' Trident!
He comes in the cafe now and again and lives just outside Carlisle, he bought the bike new in 1974 and it has over 250k miles on the clock.
