Since rat.net has a cut off number of pm's we are allowed, I was wondering if it's a good idea for me to start deleting messages and keeping them groomed better here. There must be an advantage to not using up the space. Any thoughts?

If there is a limit to amount of PMs here,I haven't found it yet.At one time I had over 150 PMs stored, but I finally got off my ass and deleted a bunch of really old,or trivial ones, just to make it easier to find ones I might want to refer back to.
I would say, save the ones you want, delete the ones you don't.If you can't decide, save 'em all. I think there's some kind of back-up for PM's too, where you can put them in a file, but I haven't tried it yet.
